Alright, I'll admit it. The title for this travel blog is too morbid. Very few people would continue reading something that has "River to Hell" as its header... but then again, I am not writing this for the masses but for those very few people. Someday they'll show you, they're not that few when you get to know them.
Why River to Jigoku?
Well, I plan to map out my dream realm...starting with the nightmares. And what can make you feel like you're descending to hell than your darkest visions lurking in the shadows of your bedroom.
Anyway, I once started a thread in Gaia titled "I need your nightmares" that coincidentally inspired others to start their own similar threads...but the thing about threads is that it'll get incoherent after a few posts/pages especially with such a broad topic as "Nightmares". And besides, my intention then was different from now. Then, I was like a taxonomist, tracing nightmare species from different parts of the world hoping to construct a workable classification or phylogenetic tree. But now, I'm an explorer, a geographer who wants to end all doubt about whether or not the earth is round or flat.
I'll be posting nightmares if and whenever it happens...plus, I'll be digging back on old blogs and diaries about past nightmares. Some of them continue with their plots years after I last dreamt them...
Will I be OK?
Who knows...I've been trying to map out my mind for years with great success but just then, a whole part collapses and sinks into the bottom of the ocean...Then I realized, what I'm seeing is just the tip of the iceberg... I'll need a backpack for sure...
Ai Am My Own Paradox is my site, for anyone who cares to visit. It's like an "Elephant" with all my parts revealed <<This statement would make more sense if you knew the Indian story of the Blind Men and the Elephant which you can also read in the home page of the same site.
